What's going on here? TV is going further afield.

"I don't think I'm ever really going to get bored of this show," says Jerry O'Connell, whose "Sliders" will return this spring.

That's the idea of fantasy, creating unlimited visions. "There are no boundaries," says Barry Schulman, programming chief of cable's Sci-Fi Channel. "You can create your own worlds."
That's what "Sliders" does constantly. "We go to parallel earths," says producer Tracey Torme, "sometimes two or three a week."
